CALL TO ORDER
P&Z Chairperson Daniel Tunstall opened the meeting for the P&Z Regular Meeting at
6:30 p.m.
In attendance were:

P&Z Commissioner Mary Starr
P&Z Commissioner Layni Cade
Also present were Deputy City Attorney Lawrence Provins, City Planner Jai McBride,
Associate Engineer Matthew Brown, Planner II Vince Hustead and Office Assistant Alma
Gonzales.
CALL TO ORDER REGULAR P&Z MEETING
P&Z Chairperson Daniel Tunstall read into the record the items on the consent agenda.
P&Z Commissioner Mary Starr made a motion to approve, P&Z Vice -Chairperson
Thomas Duncan seconded the motion. Motion passed 5-0.
CONSENT AGENDA
All items listed under the "Consent Agenda" are considered to be routine and require little
or no deliberation by the P&Z Commission. These items will be enacted / approved by
one motion unless a commissioner requests separate action on an item, in which event
the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered by separate action
(ix. Matters removed from Consent Agenda). Approval of the Consent Agenda enacts the
items of legislation.

CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION — PRELIMINARY PLAT OF RIVERSTONE
RANCH SECTION 10
A request of Jennifer Curtis, of BGE/Kerry Gilbert and Associates, on behalf of Carlos
Viera of Meritage Homes, owner: to approve the Preliminary of Riverstone Ranch Section
10 creating 40 single family Tots and 4 reserves, described to wit:
Legal Description: Being 10.2277± acres of land containing 40 lots and 4 reserve in two
blocks. Also being a replat of part of lot 37and all of Lots 26 and 49 out of the Allison
Richy Gulf Coast Home Company Subdivision, Section "G", as recorded on Volume 4,
Page 48 of the map records of Harris County, Texas out of the T.J. Green Survey, A-290
City of Pearland, Harris County, Texas.
General Location: East of Pearland Parkway, South of Hughes Road.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
1. "City of Pearland's Subdivision & Platting Process"- Planner II Vince Hustead
presented a PowerPoint presentation. This was a comprehensive overview of the
City of Pearland's Subdivision & Platting process beginning with application
intake and endina with recordation.
2. Nothing to report for Commissioners Activity Report.
3. Next P&Z Regular Meeting- June 18, 2018.
