The Fort Bend Central Appraisal District is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of five appointed voting
members and the locally elected County Assessor -Collector (ex officio non -voting rnernber). The members of the FBCAD
Board of Directors are appointed to two-year terms that start each even -numbered year. The Texas Property Tax Code
establishes a formal process for the appointment of members to the appraisal district's Board of Directors. At this point
in the process, nominating resolutions have been received by the appraisal district, the ballot has been created by the
chief appraiser, and the ballot is now being distributed to the taxing units authorized to vote on the appointments so
they may cast their votes in the election.

votes to be counted in the election, the governing body of the unit must officially adopt a voting resolution indicating
their voting decision. A governing body's resolution must identify the number of votes cast for the nominees) and must
be signed. The Chief Appraiser must receive the ballot and signed resolution before Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
