PURPOSE OF THE HEARING:
REQUEST BY WILLIAM E. WOLFF FOR SPECIFIC USE PERMITS, IN A MULTI -FAMILY DISTRICT, FOR
ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
1. SP -1 - AGRICULTURAL ANIMAL HUSBANDRY
2. SP -2 - FARM ACCESSORY BUILDING
3. SP -3 - CONSTRUCTION OF RADIO OR TELEVISION OR MICROWAVE TOWERS
4. SP -4 - PRIVATE CLUB - SKEET SHOOTING AND TRAP
ON THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY: TRACT A; 4.745 ACRES OF LAND, TRACT B; 4.745
ACRES OF LAND, TRACT D, 4.7447 ACRES OF LAND; AND TRACT E, 4.743 ACRES OF LAND, ALL
BEING A PART OF TRACT 162 OF THE SUBDIVISION OF THE H.T. & B.R.R. COMPANY SURVEY NO.
28, ABSTRACT 551, BRAZORIA COUNTY, TEXAS, TOTALING 18.98 ACRES. (LOCATED 1000 FEET
EAST OF THE 4000 BLOCK OF SOUTH MAIN STREET - HIGHWAY 35).
PERSONS WISHING TO SPEAK FOR THE PROPOSED REQUEST:
William E. Wolff explained he was the owner of four tracts of land located in the
southerly part of the City. The dimensions are approximately 630' by 1300' with a
dedicated roadway in the middle. He is requesting specific use permits for (1) field
crops and grazing cattle; (2) construction of a farm building for farm equipment; (3)
installation of a minimum of two 300 ft. microwave towers for communication purposes;
and (4) developing a private club for skeet and trap shooting with the direction of
fire being diagonal.

PERSONS WISHING TO SPEAR AGAINST THE PROPOSED REQUEST:
No one present spoke against the request.
QUESTION AND ANSWER PERIOD
There was a question and answer period between members of the Council, Planning and
Zoning Commission, City Staff, and Mr. Wolff. Some of the inquiries made concerned
the location of the property, the zoning of the adjacent property, height and
restrictions of microwave towers, description of a private club and permission to
allow discharge of firearms in the City.
