V. INTRODUCTION OF AGENDA AND FORMAT OF WORKSHOP
Planning Manager Martin Griggs introduced the workshop format.
VI. PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOP
Mayor Cole read the purpose of the workshop into the record.
1. Input and Discussion: A request by Katy Harris, LJA Engineering,
applicant, on behalf of JUD'S Food Stores Inc., owner, for a Joint
Workshop, as required by the Unified Development Code, regarding a
Pearland City Council and Planning and Zoning Minutes July 19, 2021
proposed Planned Development for a residential development consisting
of a mixture of lot sizes ranging from townhomes to 65-foot Tots, on
approximately 70.55 acres of land, to wit:
Legal Description: Being 70.5149 acres of land located in the H. Stevens
Survey, Abstract 594, Brazoria County, Texas, more particularly being the
residue of that certain called 74.712 acres of land conveyed to Jud's Food
Stores, Inc. by instrument of record Number 94-004500 of the Official
Records of Brazoria County, Texas, (B.C.O.P.R.), said residue described
as 70.5489 acres in the Deed Trust recorded in Document No. 2011043841,
of the Official Public Records of Brazoria County, Texas.
General Location: 4112 Main Street, Pearland TX
Katy Harris, LJA Engineering, 3600 West Sam Houston Parkway South, Suite
600, Houston, Texas, gave an overview of the proposed planned development.
Planning Manager Martin Griggs gave the staff report.
Discussion regarding the proposed planned development ensued among the
City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Clayton Weishuhn, LJA Engineering, 3600 West Sam Houston Parkway South,
Suite 600, Houston, Texas, spoke regarding the proposed planned
development.
Ernie Loeb, D. R. Horton Home Builders, 6744 Horton Vista Drive, Richmond,
Texas, spoke regarding the proposed planned development.
No action was taken.

Mayor Cole adjourned the meeting at 7:01 p.m.
