ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, FROM CLASSIFICATION GENERAL BUSINESS (GB) TO COMMERCIAL
(C), ON THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY, TO -WIT:
Lots 25, 26 and 27, Block 4, Pearland Townsite,
Brazoria County, Texas. (2248 N. Main)
1. Mr. Glenn Ackley, 611 Legion Road, Alvin, Texas. Mr. Ackley stated he was
representing his father who would like to lease the property from Mr. Bowman to
use as a wholesale and retail plumbing supply business.
Mayor Reid read into the records letters from the following individuals who were in
support of the proposed request:

QUESTION AMID ANSWER PERIOD
There was a general discussion between Council, Planning Commissioners and City Staff
concerning other businesses zoned in that area and it was pointed out that wholesale
activities are not allowed in a General Business zone.
