Mr. Lusk explained his company is an oilfield supply business and they were in the process of building a 60' x 80' metal structure to be used for warehousing, light manufacturing, shipping and packing. He is requesting a Specific Use Permit to use a mobile home on the site as an office. They intend to remove the axle from under the mobile home, secure it on a concrete pad and put skirting around it. Then, in a year or so, when business is better, they plan to remove the mobile home and construct an office building. •'0I141 , 11 LtMT01A 1 I ps • •V1 .1,` 00 o •>I7A' 17. City Attorney Luke Daniel advised that as there will be no residential use for this mobile home, it would be inappropriate to grant a Specific Use Permit and that he would direct the Planning & Zoning Commission, in their meeting following the hearing tonight, to pass on the matter until such time they receive a recommendation from City Staff. PERSONS SPEAKIW FOR THE PROPOSED CHANGE City Manager Ron Wicker explained this property was previously zoned General Business, and in the process of passing our new zoning ordinance and amending our maps, this property was mistakenly zoned Multi -Family. Therefore, the City Staff has initiated this zone change to get the property back to the zoning it has been operating under. City Attorney Luke Daniel advised that this was obviously a clerical error and in order to change the zoning back to what it was originally intended, it was necessary for Staff to come to Planning & Zoning and Council to request this change.
