SECTION 551.071 — CONSULTATION WITH CITY ATTORNEY — REGARDING POTENTIAL LITIGATION ASSOCIATED WITH MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICTS. Mr. Darrin Coker, City Attorney. 3. NEW BUSINESS CONTINUED: Council returned from Executive Session at 10:47 p.m. Page 1 of 2 — 11/2/09 COUNCIL ACTION — REGARDING APPOINTMENTS TO THE CITY'S VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS. City Council. Councilmember Cole made the motion, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Kyle to appoint Charles D. Gooden, Jr., to Position No. 1 term to expire November 1, 2011; Kurt E. Evenson to Position No. 2 term to expire November 1, 2010; Rushi B. Patel to Position No. 3 term to expire November 1, 2011; Michael P. O'Day to Position No. 5 term to expire November 1, 2011; and reappoint Lucy Stevener to Position No. 7 term to expire November 1, 2011 on the Pearland Economic Development Corporation Board. Voting "Aye" Councilmembers Owens, Sherman, Kyle, Saboe, Cole. Voting "No" None. Motion Passed 5 to 0. COUNCIL ACTION — REGARDING POTENTIAL LITIGATION ASSOCIATED WITH MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICTS.
