2003-07-14 PEARLAND ECONCOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION BOARD REGULAR MEETING MINUTESMINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE PEARLAND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ("PEDC") BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, HELD MONDAY, JULY 14,2003,4:30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, 3519 LIBERTY DRIVE, PEARLAND, TEXAS. I. The meeting was called to order at 4:40 p.m. with the following present: BOARD MEMBERS Secretary Board member Board member Board member Board member Lucy Stevener Helen Beckman Bill Chase Charlie Philipp Steve Saboe Not in attendance: Due to a conflict in schedule, Chairman Dennis Frauenberger and Vice Chairman Randy Ferguson were unable to attend the meeting. EX -OFFICIO BOARD MEMBERS City of Pearland City of Pearland Bill Eisen Mayor Tom Reid Not in attendance: Due to a conflict in schedule, Carol Artz was unable to attend the meeting. Approval of Minutes: Board member Helen Beckman made the motion, seconded by Board member Charlie Philipp to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting of May 22, 2003. Motion Passed: 5 — 0 III. Board Member Reports: Board member Helen Beckman attended the Salute to Industry Selection Committee meeting. With the Secretary's concurrence, the board discussed items by priority due to a time conflict. VI. Public Comments: None VII. New Business A. Proposed Business Park: Mr. Lang Cottrell with Lennar Partners gave a presentation to the board on the proposed business park. Board member Bill Chase made motion, seconded by Board member Helen Beckman to offer a letter of intent to support the development of infrastructure of Kirby Drive for Phase I of the project. Motion Passed: 5 — 0 VIII. Adjournment: Due to time constraints, the remaining items were tabled. Board member Bill Chase made the motion, seconded by Board member Steve Saboe to adjourn the Meeting.
