Mayor Reid read, from the posted agenda, the topic to be discussed in Executive
Session.
MEETING RE1'IMM TO OPEN SESSION AT 7:44 P.M.
Mayor Reid read the following item which was discussed in Executive Session and
signed a certification to that effect:
UNDER SUBSECTION (e) LEGAL - Contemplated and Pending Litigation: The City Attomey
briefed Council on the status of Ford v. Pearland Wrecker.
NEW BUSINESS
AUTHORIZATION FOR CITY ATTORNEY TO SETTLE FORD V. PEARLAND WRECKER, CAUSE NO.
81F3264, ON APPEAL FKX THE DISTRICT COURT OF BiiAM?IA C"KY, TEXAS
It was moved by Councilmember Frauenberger, seconded by Councilmember Bost, that the
dity Attorney be authorized to settle Ford v. Pearland Wrecker, Cause No. 81F3264, on
appeal from the District Court of Brazoria County, Texas, as previously offered after
the judgment.
Motion passed 4 to 0.
The meeting adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
