KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
AFFIDAVIT
Before me, the undersigned authority, on this the day of , 2020,
personally appeared ADRIAN HERNANDEZ, who, after being by me duly sworn, deposed as
follows:
"My name is ADRIAN HERNANDEZ. I am over the age of 18 and am competent to make
this affidavit. The City of Pearland (City) is party to a solid waste contract with Waste Management
through which the City receives Franchise Fees, a portion of which are used by the City for the
operation of the Stella Roberts Recycling Center. Although I do not have an employment relationship
with Waste Management, I do have an employment relationship with Keep Pearland Beautiful (KPB)
which is party to an agreement with the City for KPB's operation of the Stella Roberts Recycling
Center. Pursuant to Section 2-77 of the City's Ethics Ordinance, I am disclosing the aforementioned
information as it relates to the nature and extent of any interest I may have in any matter involving
Waste Management." As a result, this Affidavit shall be filed with the City Secretary and I will leave
the room and abstain from participation in any matter before the City Council as it may relate to
Waste Management.
