DISCUSSION WITH ACTING CITY MANAGM CONCERNING WATER AND SEWER TAP FEES Acting City Manager DeShazer explained that this item was discussed in a previous Council meeting and at that time it was suggested that he research this matter and bring back a recommendation to Council. In this investigation it was determined that in some places the cost is less than the $275 but there are some water taps that cost more than $275. City Manager DeShazer requested that because of the limited amount of information presently in the files, he would like to maintain the $275 fee for the water and sewer taps while continuing a survey analysis of our cost on these and perhaps come back to Council with a recommendation of a different rate. There was a general discussion between Council and City Staff regarding the installation of the water and sewer taps, the amount of time involved and the different problem areas. It was moved by Councilmember Smith, seconded by Councilmember Miller, that the City Manager be granted time, until January 1, 1991, to conduct a survey of the water and sewer tap fees and then bring back his recommendation to Council.
