HUSBANDRY IN AN R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT, ON THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED
PROPERTY TO WIT:
43.89 Acres of land located in Abstract 111, being Tracts
2A1A, 2A1A1, 2A2 and 2B1C out of the James E. Perry and
Emily Austin League of the Deed Records of Brazoria
County, Texas. (Bellmar Street)
SPEAKING FOR THE PROPOSED REQUEST:
1. Larry Bellmyer, 508 Rustic. Mr. Bellmyer informed he would like to use the
property to pasture 10-15 head of registered cattle. He would keep the property
mowed and keep the gates secured which he feels will benefit the neighbors in the
area.
2. Larry Johnson, Loomis International. Mr. Johnson stated that there was a storage
,-� warehouse on the property and, with Mr. Bellmyer using the property, this would
help protect against vandalism. Another benefit, Mr. Johnson mentioned was that
the property would be kept mowed.
SPEAKING AGAINST THE PROPOSED REQUEST:
The following spoke against the proposed change for reasons of unpleasant odor,
diseases from the livestock and devaluation of their property.

QUESTION AND ANSWER PERIOD
Commissioner Al Lentz advised that an informal petition had been received this
evening with approximately 21 signatures of people against having cattle on the
proposed property.
In Council and Commissioners discussion with Mr. Bellmyer, he was informed that the -`
Animal Control ordinance restricts having cattle within 150 feet of any residence.
Mr. Bellmyer stated he would put up an additional fence between the cattle and any
residences.
