Administrative Services Mary Hickling; and Project Coordinator Alan Mueller.
P & Z Vice Chairman Pat Lopez read the purpose of the public hearing into the
record.
PURPOSE OF HEARING - SPECIFIC USE PERMIT NO. 49
Request of Sharon L. Johnson, agent, for Bob Ellis, owner, for an amendment
to the Land Use and Urban Development Ordinance of said City for a Specific
Use Permit on the following described property, to -wit:
.7194 acre tract of land out of Tract 43 of the Zychlinski subdivision of the H.T.
& B. R.R. Co. Survey, Section 2, Abstract 542, Brazoria County, Texas. (3909
Halik)
Assistant City Manager Burdine informed Council of the location of the property and
advised them that the tenant would be moving an existing structure off of the property
and moving another one on.
PERSONS WISHING TO SPEAK FOR THE PROPOSED REQUEST
Sharon D. Johnson, 3909 Halik addressed Council stating that they were indeed
planning to move out the existing structure and move another structure onto the
property.

COUNCIL/PLANNING COMMISSION/STAFF DISCUSSION
Councilmember Cole inquired about the need for a specific use permit if there is an
existing structure.
Mr. Burdine informed Council that it was to bring the property into compliance.
