RESOLUTION NO. R2017-75
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Pearland, Texas, granting
Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 22 power to finance
recreational facilities in accordance with the Texas Water Code and other
applicable law.
WHEREAS, Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 22 (the "District") was created
with the consent of the City of Pearland (the "City") in 2001, and such consent provided for the
ability of the District to issue its bonds for various purposes, including financing water,
wastewater, drainage, and fire facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City has been requested to grant its consent to allow the District to
finance recreational facilities, and the City is agreeable to expanding its consent to include such
facilities; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:
Section 1. The City hereby grants its consent to the inclusion of land in Brazoria
County Municipal Utility District No. 22 to allow for the financing and refinancing of recreational
facilities in accordance with the Texas Water Code and other applicable law. All other
conditions to the inclusion of land within the District remain in full force and effect.
